If Destiel is ever made canon this is how I want it to be portrayed, almost everyone has this idea that if Destiel becomes canon the writers are going to have to add Destiel smutt every few episode to show how much they love each other and I think that is so wrong, to my understanding sex is more of a random activity to Dean just a tool used to get off, I don’t think love and sex are connected to him, if Dean where to show Cas that he loved him he would touch Castiel’s fingers, caress his face, and hold his hand in public all displays of Dean’s vulnerability

No but guys Dean and Cas showering together. Not having sex in the shower (though they do that too), but just showering together. Dean massaging shampoo into Cas’s hair, giving him little lingering kisses on his neck and cheek as he does. Cas rubbing soap across Dean’s body with loving hands, sending shivers down Dean’s spine despite the scalding hot water pouring down on them.
Dean and Cas touching each other simply out of need and taking care of each other.
Okay but I have this other headcanon that Dean’s eyes go black whenever he gets turned on.
So Cas does his growly voice and - black eyes. Or Cas lifts something heavy and - black eyes. Or Cas gets pissed and beats the crap out of Dean again and - black eyes.
And Sam is the one who catches on.
